The boys played very well to start, we were looking tight but a few mistakes in our area and we gave away a goal. The battle was on and the boys were on fire. Ethan standing strong in net, made some fantastic saves and really uses his area more. The boys were on the attack with Kobe opening our score sheet. We wernt letting them win the ball back. The footwork was spot on, the passing was sharp. Its great to see that if they cant get a clear shot the pass it out, i think everyone had a touch in one of the goals! With two from Kobe, one from Nyle, one from Caleb and two each from Louis the game was ours. As always the wall defending our goal with power and precision. Kian forward seizing opportunities as he does well, It was a great win for the boys and a great moral boost as they head into the cup final.
(Sorry Sarah and Andrea, my nephew cleaned my car out and threw your notes away!)

Signol Blues Vs Fletcher Moss Devils
The sun was shining for today's match although that is
sometimes a hindrance and I think the boys found the heat difficult.
We started well with Riley up top, Rio and Josh on the
wings, Jackson in defence and K in the net.
We held our own for a while until they scored an easy
goal but the boys kept fighting and trying to find the net, they had a couple
of chances to level but the opposition scored another two in quick succession,
On came Fin for Jackson and a quick break from the centre saw Rio push down the
line and Riley link up with him which ended with Josh scoring our first goal,
the boys were happy they pulled one back and it was more than they deserved.
Soon after Riley made a fantastic run down the wing and
scored his debut goal! This put some wind in the boys sails and they searched
for more goals but unfortunately they didn't come. We conceded a few more
before the break but we played some good football and I was positive we could
get some more before the game finished.
A swap at half time saw Jackson push up and Riley play in
defence, he didn't shy away from any challenges and played well protecting
Kieran who did well in net and made some good saves despite the end score.
As the opposition scored a couple more the boys heads
went down but after the game I reminded them how far we've come since the start
of the season when we lost 15-0! The boys all did brilliantly and coped well in
the heat against a strong side, Man of the match and captain for next week is
Josh, he always puts a shift in and tries to take the game by the scruff of the
neck.
