What a game this was! Briefed them up on looking sharp on our warm up and they delivered, after 5 mins of messing! :) We had played this team before in a cup match but sadly lost out on that! But we went in heads held high and ready to put up the challenge. Starting with Kobe in centre mid, Nyle right Caleb left and George "The Wall" Hall in defence looking after Ethan who is fast becoming a great keeper. Confidence is growing and the movement in the area is improving week after week! He may be small but hes not afraid of anyone! Off they went and we conceded quick! I dont know what it is with these boys but it takes about 3 min to get started and usually concede! But that was it they woke up! Hammering down the wing Caleb was on fire, His control and pace were spot on. Oh apart from the time i had to shout "Run Caleb dont walk" but he didn't walk again so he was fab! Kobe was great he sits well in Centre mid, falling back to George when it was in our half, which wasn't a lot! Nyle fast down the wing pace picking up, must be the cross country hes catching up to harry now, who sadly wasn't there as he is unwell. George is a funny one, once hes off hes off. Nothing passes him, he takes it in his stride, he is confident enough to just approach a player, take the ball and clear our danger zone. Nothing stops The Wall! A quick change with Kobe for Kian and it was also a change in formation, which im hoping confused the opposition a little! Kian as always perfect positioning, hold back when needed and strikes when he sees their mistakes, reads it very well! Caleb goes down on a tackle, big mistake for them, the tears on his cheeks only rile him up more and once thats in his head boom the back of the net is not safe! Hes such a credit to the team! So tow goals later from him and its half time. Not wanting to make too many changes i switched Nyle for Louis, who is a real trooper, loaded up on calpol he wasnt missing his game. I told him to tell me if he felt poorly and ill take him off, but no, he wasnt having that! All over that wing, up and down and he also has grown in confidence. Two more goals from Caleb and we were looking at a 4-1 win, but thats not good enough for Louis, he a snatch of the ball and a great pass from Caleb boom it went in, it did flick off the foot of their player but it was definitely Louis goal! Kian back on for Kobe and another change in formation and the game was ours! Kobe had a couple of shots on target but unfortunately their keeper was ready!

brilliant game against a good club! Week on week the boys improve and i am so very proud of them! They make me smile they make me tear my hair out but seeing how far they have come its all worth it!

Man of the match and captain next week had to be Caleb. Precise, professional and an all round great player! The four goals helped too! Well done Caleb well deserved!
