Cup Game review 26/09/15

Signol Reds v Moston Brook

I want to just start this with a huge well done to Signol boys for displaying some fantastic football, not once did they give up! Captained by Nyle, the lads set out with extreme pace and some superb passing! We had Moston on the defence very quickly! We held position and stood strong, goals from  Louis, George and Kobe were fantastic! Caleb in defence was unstoppable, a nasty tackle took him out but he jumped up and carried on, Kian fast on the front also took a tackle but didn't get him down! George fighting it out in midfield as always never afraid to get the ball! Kobe worked defence and second half mid field, he did this fantastically, Harry fast on the right, constantly pushing the ball into their half, Nyle on the front battling through tough take downs, earning a free kick from a tackle and as always pushing the ball wide, Louis big and strong on the left and Ethan brilliant in goal! Some fantastic saves and some unlucky misses but over all a fab keeper! Might get him some stilts for those over his head shots! Well done Ethan!

Man of the match went to Caleb, what a performance! He drops into any position with ease and does it in style! Well done Caleb you captain the team next week!

Signol Blues V Hollingworth Tigers 

Unfortunately we had to forfeit this game as we were missing two players and we couldn't get a full team on the pitch, I put Kian on (Reds) so that meant, as hes a division higher, we automatically lost the cup match! The boys didn't let this affect them though, Captained by Fin the lads plowed into the opposition. You wouldn't think that this team won them last week with such a heavy score line! 1 week and these lads were on fire! Harvey what a cracking keeper, your saves were fantastic! Josh never fails to perform, consistent and passionate about the game he drives that ball forward! Kieren in defence, what a great game from him, he settled into position and took some fantastic tackles and won! Fin, what a game for this one, he was unstoppable and i can honestly say ive never seen him play at this level! Tackles wernt an issue and the speed of those little legs! Fantastic! Dan did well upfront Some great moves on the ball kept the opposition guessing and Rio in defence in the second half, good effort, fast strong and persistent! Thank you to Kian, i know you must of been tired from playing in your match but non the less you stepped up, scored the blues a goal and boosted their confidence!

Man of the match could only go to , Fin! He was a one man team, fab play Fin and perfect attitude to team sports!
