A superb team performance, the hard work in training with the change in focus to attacking technique really paid off as from the off the boys were ruthless! Dan was rarely threatened in goal, but when called upon made great saves. Caleb was solid once again with Will and Harry partnering him at different stages also ensuring the Uppermill attacks were broken down quickly. Obie and Oli drove the ball at the Uppermill defence who really struggled to cope with the quick feet and skill shown. Overall another great performance the boys showed great teamwork throughout and got the goals they deserved from some quick passing and skillful finishing. Thoroughly enjoyed the way the boys are playing at the moment using the pitch and space available when in possession of the ball and then working hard together when looking to get the ball back.
Game 1
After the change in training to attacking techniques i had high hopes for the boys after the previous weeks performance. A quick start to the game from Uppermill had them get an early goal which seemed to knock the boys confidence. Max made some superb saves to keep the score down, however struggled against a strong Uppermill attack. Alfie made some great tackles with Louis in the boss man role. Finley, Fidz and Carl tried their best when getting forward and made some great runs with some quick footwork. Positionally the boys were all over the place and were punished due to this, a change in focus in training for the next few weeks should get them the performances they deserve as they are all working really hard.
