Game 1
Fantastic all round team performance from the boys today got them a result they fully deserved. From the off they were fully focused on attacking, looking to pass the ball forward quickly, which troubled the opposition. With a bit more technique in front of goal the boys could have scored more. A lovely game of football to watch.
Dan - Solid performance in goal with some great saves, quick distribution enabled the boss men to move the ball forward into dangerous areas.
Caleb - Brilliant game today not just in his performance but also tactically. Caleb oozed calmness throughout and read the game fantastically not jumping into tackles, once winning the ball looking to move it up the pitch. Well done!
Will - Played in two different positions today, the first half playing the boss man role, Will was quick to win the ball back and drive forward. In the second half on the wing, Will dribbled well and was unfortunate not to get himself a goal.
Oli - Great stuff from Oli today on the wing some quick footwork dazzling the opposition. A clever corner routine earned Oli a well deserved goal with another one shortly before. One of Oli's finest performances since joining the club, he was determined throughout.
Obie - Captain for the team today based on last weeks performance, he led the team from start to end. Some super footwork got him into dangerous positions and had the opposition unsure. Share the ball!
Harry - Superb game today partnering Caleb in the boss man role, when winning the ball back Harry looked to dribble forward and got a well deserved goal. Harry was determined throughout and played some lovely passes into the wingers.
Game 2
Boys started the game really well today getting forward and nicking an early goal. In the second half they lost themselves positionally and were punished as a consequence. The boys passed the ball out from the back quickly and looked to get into goal scoring positions at every opportunity, same as the first game more technique in the final third will get more goals in the future.
Max - Great stuff in goal from Max, made some really good saves to keep the opposition out. Distribution throughout was quick and got us countering well as a team.
Louis - Solid performance today back in the boss man role. Louis looked to win the ball back quickly and get it up the line to the wingers with some great passes. Louis was a threat going forward and scored a lovely goal in the first half.
Finley - Started as boss man partnering Louis in the first half, put in some great tackles and got the ball moving forward at every opportunity. Second half Finley went on the wing and looked to dribble the ball forward.
Carl - Great stuff from Carl, lovely dribbling throughout enabled him to get into good postions in the final third. Some good passing got the team forward with Carl also eager to win the ball back when losing possession.
Alfie Fidz - Brilliant game today, some lovely footwork got Alfie into the right areas in the opposition half and he was unfortunate not to get the ball in the back of the net on more than one occasion.
Ollie - Came into the game on the wing and looked to get the ball forward at every opportunity. A lovely strike from the edge of the area got Ollie on the score sheet. Determined throughout Ollie won the ball back quickly.
Alfie - Came on to partner Louis in the boss man role and was solid throughout. Alfie read the game superbly and won the ball back at every opportunity. Some great passing out from the back got the wingers on the attack.
